iPod Touch

The iPod Touch is Apple’s only touch based iPod. It has a 3.5” multi-touch track surface. This enables you to be interactive with your iPod whether its just using your finger to scroll through your music, or use one of the 50,000 apps offered on the iPhone/iPod Touch apps store. The iPod Touch runs a striped down version of the iPhone OS 4.1 making it function just like an iPhone without the cellular capability. It features both bluetooth and 802.11n wireless technologies making it possible to connect to not only the internet, but also each others iPods for interactive gaming (via bluetooth) as well as many other things. The Touch’s enclosure features a glass multi-touch track surface in the front, with a chrome backing. The iPod Touch is also the only iPod that comes with both a front and rear facing camera, making it possible to take photos, shoot video and do a facetime conference with it.
