The iPod Touch
is Apple’s only touch based iPod. It has a 3.5”
multi-touch track surface. This enables you to be
interactive with your iPod whether its just using your
finger to scroll through your music, or use one of the
50,000 apps offered on the iPhone/iPod Touch apps store.
The iPod Touch runs a striped down version of the iPhone OS
4.1 making it function just like an iPhone without the
cellular capability. It features both bluetooth and 802.11n
wireless technologies making it possible to connect to not
only the internet, but also each others iPods for
interactive gaming (via
bluetooth) as well as many
other things. The Touch’s enclosure features a glass
multi-touch track surface in the front, with a chrome
backing. The iPod Touch is also the only iPod that comes
with both a front and rear facing camera, making it
possible to take photos, shoot video and do a facetime
