The 13” MacBook Pro is a brand new addition to the MacBook Pro family. It takes all of the features of the unibody MacBook and brings them over to the MacBook Pro lineup in a 13” form. Also new is a FireWire 800 Port, Kensington lock as well as a new integrated battery using the same technology as the 17” MacBook Pro. It will last up to 5 yrs. without losing its full charge capability. Standard is a fibre optic backlit keyboard w/built in ambient light sensor. Also included is a SD Card slot, which is a welcome feature for those who need to quickly transfer photos from your digital camera without having to scramble around trying to find the USB/FW cable that came with it. All 13” MacBook Pros ship with Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, iLife ’09 as well as all of the built-in apps from Mac OS X. Check out the specs below.
